RootSignal is a TranquilTech technology for live presence: a way to reach toward the people already near you in a community, and for them to show up. It runs inside Mycelial first.
What it does
A signal is a reach toward presence
Some moments don't fit a post or a thread: a heavy hour after a session, a quiet need for company, a gathering that wants to happen now. RootSignal is for those. You send a short signal, and the people nearby in the network can see it.
A signal can carry a short message and a visibility scope: your trusted circle, your community, or the open network. Signals expire after two hours, and the calls in a signal room are never recorded. The network is often quiet, and that quiet means something too.
When a signal is visible, people respond by showing up: joining the signal room, sending an acknowledgment, or simply letting the sender know someone saw it. The interface is deliberately small: a pulse, a message, and a button that says "Show up."

RootSignal is designed to live wherever presence and quiet reach belong: inside communities, between practitioners and the people they hold, and across TranquilTech's other products as they mature.
Its first home is Mycelial, at mycelial.help/rootsignal, where real Groves give it something to learn from. When it has more than one home, it will get its own address. This page is its public address until then.
